Proclaims April 5, 2016, as National Service Recognition Day in Oklahoma.

Congratulates and commends AmeriCorps and Senior Corps for addressing critical challenges including disaster response to Moore tornadoes, hunger elimination, education, and health services to Native American communities.

Notes that more than 7,400 national service participants serve in over 1,400 locations across Oklahoma, leveraging more than $33,250,000 in nonfederal resources.

Encourages Oklahoma residents to recognize the positive impact of national service, thank those who serve, and find ways to give back to their communities.

Directs distribution of the resolution to Theresa D. Long, Oklahoma State Director of the Corporation for National and Community Service, and Melinda Points, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Community Service Commission.
