Adds statewide nonprofit entities that represent health care providers to the list of groups eligible to apply for participation in the Oklahoma Employees Insurance and Benefits Plans

Amends 74 O.S. 2011, Section 1315, which governs participation by political subdivisions, public trusts, utility districts, nonprofit entities, and other local service agencies in state employee insurance plans

Eligible employees must work in positions requiring at least 1,000 hours per year to qualify for benefits under participating groups

Participating groups must pay all costs attributable to their participation and receive the same benefits and premium rates as state and education employees

Effective date: November 1, 2016
