Executive Director of the Office of Juvenile Affairs is responsible for administration and may employ instructional and administrative personnel in the unclassified service, who are eligible for Teachers' Retirement System membership

Office of Management and Enterprise Services is authorized to exempt the Office of Juvenile Affairs from statutes that conflict with charter school operation requirements

Office of Management and Enterprise Services must assist with charter school operations, including establishing a special agency account and authorizing a required surety bond

Effective date of July 1, 2016, with an emergency clause for immediate effect upon passage and approval
