County school boards shall consist of seven members: two elected from each of the three county commissioner districts, plus one at-large member who serves as chairman

Initial elections to be held in November 2020, with subsequent elections held in November of even-numbered years on a nonpartisan basis

Four members serve initial 4-year terms; three members serve initial 2-year terms to establish staggered terms, with all subsequent terms being 4 years

Board seat becomes vacant if a district member ceases to reside in the county commissioner district from which they were elected

Act's effectiveness is contingent on Enrolled Senate Bill No. 906 of the 2nd Session of the 55th Oklahoma Legislature also becoming law
