Senate Bill 1168 Summary

• Amends Oklahoma's Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act (63 O.S. 2011, Section 2-101) to add and renumber definitions of controlled substances and related terms.

• Adds new definition 34 for "Recovery and recovery support" referencing Section 1-103 of Title 43A of the Oklahoma Statutes, with subsequent definitions renumbered accordingly.

• Clarifies that "Marihuana" does not include cannabidiol products with tetrahydrocannabinol concentration not exceeding 0.3% for FDA-approved clinical trials treating severe epilepsy in minors or for liquid cannabidiol with physician certification for Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, Dravet Syndrome, or severe epilepsy.

• Permits industrial hemp from Cannabis sativa L. with delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol not exceeding 0.3% on a dry weight basis to be shipped into Oklahoma under specified conditions, though not grown within the state.
