Willful violation of any juvenile court order now constitutes indirect contempt of court, punishable by a fine up to $300 or placement in a juvenile detention center for up to 10 days (or both) for delinquent children

Removes the previous exception that allowed children adjudicated "in need of supervision" who violated valid court orders to be placed in secure detention under the federal Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act

Allows runaway juveniles from other states (with or without delinquent status) to be held in detention facilities under the Interstate Compact for Juveniles

Administrative transfer and parole revocation hearings may now be held in either the county where the alleged violation occurred or the county of original jurisdiction
