Modifies laboratory science requirements to include one unit of life science (Biology I), one unit of physical science (Chemistry or Physics), and one unit from physical science, life science, or earth and space science domains with content and rigor above Biology I or Physical Science

Reduces fine arts requirement from 2 units to 1 unit in the core curriculum (subsection D), allowing courses in Visual Arts, General Music, or speech

Adds a new 1-unit Computer Education requirement to the core curriculum, covering computer programming, hardware, and business applications such as word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and graphics, excluding keyboarding or typing courses

Expands eligible courses for college preparatory/work ready curriculum by allowing Advanced Placement computer science courses to count toward mathematics requirements if taken in senior year with concurrent or prior completion of Algebra II
