Amends 56 O.S. 2011, Section 167.1 to modify requirements for the Department of Human Services requesting financial records from financial institutions with written client consent.

Permits financial institutions and agencies to charge a reasonable fee for producing requested documents, whereas previously such records were required to be furnished at no cost.

Updates language by replacing "said" with "the" throughout the statute for clarity and modernization.

Maintains that if a client refuses to sign written consent for financial record requests, the Department may refuse assistance or service to that client.

Effective date: November 1, 2016.
