• Requires pain management clinics to obtain separate registration from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control in addition to practitioner registrations, with an annual fee of $140.00.

• Mandates that pain management clinics be owned and operated by physicians licensed in Oklahoma with no administrative action against their licenses and no felony convictions.

• Requires practitioners to check the patient's prescription profile on the central repository before prescribing opioids, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, or carisoprodol.

• Grants existing pain management clinics 90 days to comply with new requirements, with an option for an additional 90-day extension upon application to the Director.
