SB1541 Summary

• Transfers all powers, duties, employees, functions, and responsibilities of the Office of Disability Concerns to the State Department of Rehabilitation Services effective July 1, 2016.

• Includes transfer of all equipment, supplies, records, assets, liabilities, fund balances, encumbrances, and obligations associated with the Office of Disability Concerns.

• Transfers all administrative rules promulgated by the Office of Disability Concerns to become part of the administrative rules of the State Commission of Rehabilitation Services, with the Office of Administrative Rules providing notice in the Oklahoma Register.

• Authorizes the State Commission of Rehabilitation Services to enter into agreements and contracts for provision of services and programs pursuant to Public Law 93-112.

• Repeals 74 O.S. 2011, Sections 9.21, 9.23, and 9.33, and takes effect July 1, 2016 under emergency declaration.
