A person with a bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree meets the educational requirements to be a director of a full-time child care center under the Department of Human Services, without affecting annual continuing education requirements.

Licensed child care facilities opened or expanded before November 1, 2016, must maintain 35 square feet of floor area per infant in rooms occupied only by infants.

Child care facilities with new construction or existing unlicensed space after November 1, 2016, must maintain 40 square feet of floor area per infant in rooms occupied only by infants.

The bill codifies these requirements in Oklahoma Statutes as Section 405.4 of Title 10.
