SB 1598 Summary

• Amends 74 O.S. 2011, Section 840-5.5 to establish 32 unclassified employment positions for Commissioners of the Land Office employees, including Chief Financial Officer, Assistant Directors, Archivists, Auditors, and various specialty positions

• Adds new unclassified positions for Land Office: Director of Communications, Director of Royalty Compliance, Director of Mineral Management, Commercial Property Manager, Director of Real Estate Management, and Director of Oil and Gas Division

• Becomes effective July 1, 2016, with an emergency clause declaring necessity for preservation of public peace, health and safety
