ENGROSSED SENATE BILL NO. 1601 Summary

• Amends Oklahoma Statutes Section 840-5.5 to add new positions for the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors to the unclassified service, including one Director of Enforcement, two Board Investigators, two Administrative Assistant II positions, and one Administrative Technician.

• These newly designated unclassified positions for the engineering and land surveyor licensing board allow those employees to be exempt from classified civil service employment requirements.

• The bill becomes effective July 1, 2016.
