Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Turnpike Authority authorized to post temporary reduced speed limits via changeable message signs for maintenance operations, accidents, weather hazards, or other dangerous highway conditions

Gross vehicle weight limit of 90,000 pounds established for vehicles operating off the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways, unless operating with an overweight permit from the Commissioner of Public Safety

Speed limit signs in construction, maintenance, or repair zones may now be posted using changeable message signs or other appropriate signage rather than only traditional signs

Vehicles issued a license under Section 1 of the act will have that license serve as their required overweight permit

Effective date of July 1, 2015, with emergency clause for immediate effect upon passage and approval
