Prohibits insurance companies from retroactively annulling liability insurance contracts after bodily injury, death, or property damage has occurred, with any attempted annulment declared void.

Adds exception allowing retroactive annulment of claim-made liability policies only when the insurer has actual notice that a claim or potential claim has been made against the insured and the insured has reported the claim to their insurer.

Became effective November 1, 2016.
