Farm Credit was established by Congress in 1916 and serves as one of the nation's oldest financial institutions dedicated to supporting farmers and ranchers.

The Farm Credit System is the only major agricultural lender that is locally owned and operated, with borrowers serving as members who elect the board of directors.

Farm Credit provides financing and financial services to farmers, ranchers, cooperatives, and agribusinesses in Oklahoma through its Young, Beginning and Small Farmer and Rancher Program.

The Oklahoma State Senate recognizes and commends Farm Credit and five local offices: Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma, Oklahoma AgCredit, Farm Credit of Enid, AgPreference, and American AgCredit for 100 years of service to the agricultural community.

A copy of this resolution shall be distributed to AgPreference, American AgCredit, Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma, Farm Credit of Enid, and Oklahoma AgCredit.
