Direct the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to refrain from awarding or signing any contract based on the request for proposals for care coordination models for aged, blind and disabled persons until further legislative review and approval in the 2nd Session of the 56th Oklahoma Legislature.

Cite uncertainty surrounding new federal managed care regulations and their potential impact on the Medicaid budget as justification for the contract suspension.

Note that Oklahoma's Medicaid budget has been cut by over $400 million since 2010, resulting in reduced provider rates and decreased access to care.

Highlight that "supplemental payments" and "provider fees" generate approximately $650 million in federal dollars annually to the state Medicaid program, which may be at risk.

Require distribution of the resolution to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Administrator and Board members.
