Encourages all Oklahomans to support emergency management by preparing their homes and families for severe weather.

Encourages all Oklahomans to thank those who contribute to emergency management across the state during Emergency Management Week.

Notes that since 2007, Oklahoma has received 36 presidential disaster declarations representing more than $620 million in infrastructure damage from ice storms, tornadoes, flooding, and other severe weather.

Acknowledges that Oklahoma Emergency Managers follow four phases of emergency management: preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.
