Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs is authorized and directed to relocate the Oklahoma Veterans Center from Talihina, Oklahoma to a new location eligible for U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs recognition and certification as a State Veterans' Home.

The new location must be within 40 miles of the current Talihina location and within city limits of a municipality with at least 8,000 population according to the latest Federal Decennial Census.

Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs is authorized to develop a new facility to assume operations of the current Oklahoma Veterans Center, subject to geographical constraints imposed by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

The act takes effect immediately upon passage and approval, declared an emergency for preservation of public peace, health, or safety.
