Amends 59 O.S. 2011, Section 1151.2 to modify definitions in the Roofing Contractor Registration Act, including definitions of "advertise," "applicant," "board," "committee," "homeowner," "nonresident contractor," "owner," "person," "prime contractor," "project manager," "public contract," "qualifying party," "registrar," "registration," "registration number," "registrant," "residence," "roofing contractor," "roofing contractor work," "roofing hearing board," "subcontractor," "variance," and "variance and appeals board."

Specifies that a "subcontractor" does not include a labor-only subcontractor working under the supervision of a registered and endorsed roofing contractor or roofing subcontractor.

Defines "roofing contractor work" to include installation, renovation, remodeling, reroofing, reconstructing, repair, maintenance, improvement, alteration, and waterproofing per International Building Code and International Residential Code standards adopted by Oklahoma.

Clarifies that roofing contractor does not include persons engaged in demolition, workers under direct supervision of a roofing contractor, persons working on their own property without compensation, or handymen performing no more than two roofing jobs per year.

Effective date: November 1, 2017.
