Three attorney members of the Judicial Nominating Commission shall be appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and three attorney members shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

All six attorney members must be licensed to practice law in Oklahoma and must include at least one appointee from each congressional district.

Vacancies of attorney commissioner positions shall be filled by the original appointing authority that made the initial appointment.

All currently appointed attorney member positions on the Judicial Nominating Commission are deemed vacant upon the effective date, and all serving members' terms are terminated.

The President Pro Tempore of the Senate and Speaker of the House must make initial appointments for attorney members within 30 days of the effective date.
