SB 704 Summary

• Amends the definition of "marihuana" in Oklahoma's Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act to include a tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration threshold of more than 0.30% delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol in the flower on a dry weight basis

• Expands medical exemptions for cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabis products to include treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, chronic pain, and spasticity conditions, with THC concentrations up to 12.00%

• Allows qualified persons with physician certification to possess cannabis preparations for severe epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, paraplegia, intractable nausea, chronic wasting diseases, and other severe forms of epilepsy

• Permits cannabis products to be delivered to patients in liquid or concentrate form

• Effective November 1, 2017
