Agencies in Oklahoma's executive branch may adopt policies permitting full-time classified and regular unclassified employees to use administrative leave for physical fitness and wellness purposes, effective November 1, 2017.

Physical fitness leave shall not be charged to annual or sick leave accumulations and is limited to no more than 3 hours per week.

Employees must meet standards established in rules and receive approval from their agency director or designee to participate in the program.

The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall promulgate rules necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
