Amends 63 O.S. 2011, Section 1-502 to clarify State Board of Health authority to adopt rules and regulations for prevention and control of communicable diseases, including immunization procedures, quarantine measures, and school exclusions.

Amends 63 O.S. 2011, Section 1-505 to specify that local health officers may remove persons infected with communicable diseases from public buildings owned by state, county, or municipal governments, unless the person is sick at home or cannot be moved without danger to life.

Amends 63 O.S. 2011, Section 1-507 by removing the prohibition against private school attendance for persons with communicable diseases, while maintaining the prohibition for public school attendance pending isolation or quarantine period completion.

Becomes effective July 1, 2017, with an emergency clause allowing the act to take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
