Creates the Oklahoma Commission on Opioid Abuse with a sunset date of July 1, 2018, chaired by the Attorney General with 9 members representing health, law enforcement, and the legislature

Commission membership includes the Commissioner of the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and Director of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control as ex officio members, plus appointees including medical doctors, a pharmacist, dentist, and legislative representatives

Commission shall study, evaluate, and recommend changes to state policy, rules, or statutes to combat opioid abuse in Oklahoma

Commission must prepare a report of findings and recommendations for the Governor, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and Speaker of the House by March 1, 2018

Commission members receive no compensation but are eligible for travel reimbursement through their respective agencies or the Office of Management and Enterprise Services; meetings are subject to the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act
