Senate Concurrent Resolution 5 Summary

• Cancel the Oklahoma Health Care Authority's Request for Proposals issued November 30, 2016, for care coordination models serving aged, blind and disabled persons under Section 5028 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

• Direct the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to collaborate with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to resolve pending questions regarding long-term viability of supplemental and pass-through payments to healthcare providers including hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and medical schools.

• Direct the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to ensure care coordination rates are actuarially sound.

• Require the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to reissue a Request for Proposals by May 1, 2017, for care coordination models for aged, blind and disabled persons.

• Distribute a copy of the resolution to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board and Executive Director.
