Legislature supports the mission of the Oklahoma Veterans Pilot Program designed to develop a 21st Century healthcare delivery system for Oklahoma veterans through a private/public partnership.

Healthcare system aims to improve timely access to services, quality of care, efficiency, and create cost savings to participating federal and state agencies.

Legislature encourages all Oklahomans to participate in program efforts to serve those who served with honor.

Transitional system of care will be tested and monitored with outcome measures recorded, with potential to become a national model.

Resolution directs distribution of copies to Governor Mary Fallin, ODVA Director Myles Deering, UCO Vice President Mark Kinders, Lifespring Home Care CEO Karen Vahlberg, program coordinator Pete Reed, and Muskogee V.A. Medical Center Director Mark Morgan.
