Designates Monday, April 10, 2017, as Oklahoma Schools of Character Day in Oklahoma.

Commends six schools designated as 2017 Oklahoma Schools of Character: Dove Science Academy Secondary School in Oklahoma City, Dove Charter Elementary in Oklahoma City, Dove Science Academy Secondary in Tulsa, Lawton Eisenhower High School, Pryor Jr. High, and Whittier Elementary in Muskogee.

Notes Oklahoma schools meet criteria based on the 11 Principles of Effective Character Education, a research-based set of standards evaluating school community culture.

Recognizes Oklahoma has the 5th largest number of designated Schools of Character among 27 states nationwide, with 6 schools among 80 total designated schools.

Directs distribution of resolution copies to Character.org leadership, OKcharacter.org state coordinator, and administrators of each designated school.
