Encourages the United States to negotiate a free trade agreement (FTA) with Taiwan to strengthen economic relationships between the two countries.

Commends the signing of the International Expedited Traveler Initiative between the United States and Taiwan in 2016, which promotes tourism and people-to-people exchanges.

Celebrates the 37th anniversary of the sister-state relationship between Oklahoma and Taiwan, noting that Taiwan-affiliated companies support 1,319 jobs in Oklahoma and Taiwan is the 9th largest export market for Oklahoma in Asia.

Commends Mr. Louis M. Huang, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston, for his efforts in enhancing cooperation between Taiwan and Oklahoma.
