Suspends Senator Ralph Shortey's positions as vice-chair of the Committee on Energy and vice-chair of the Subcommittee on Select Agencies of the Appropriations Committee.

Suspends Shortey's membership on the Committee on Retirement and Insurance, Committee on Judiciary, and Committee on Appropriations.

Removes Shortey's authority to designate an executive assistant; places his assistant under direct supervision of the Senate Chief Operating Officer.

Requires immediate return of all state-owned property including laptop computer; prohibits use of office space in Room 412 and assigned parking in the Capitol's west lot.

Suspends Shortey's office expense allowances, postage, mileage, and travel reimbursements; transfers all pages under his sponsorship as of March 15, 2017, to the President Pro Tempore for the remainder of the 2017 legislative session.
