Oklahoma Congressional Redistricting Act of 2021 (SB 6X)

• Divides Oklahoma into five Congressional Districts based on 2020 U.S. Census data, with detailed specifications of counties, tracts, blockgroups, and blocks for each district.

• All five districts have approximately equal population of approximately 791,870 persons each, with total state population of 3,959,353.

• New district lines become effective beginning with the November 2022 General Election for U.S. House of Representatives, with the State Election Board conducting 2022 elections under the new districts.

• Repeals the previous Oklahoma Congressional Redistricting Act of 2011 (14 O.S. 2021, Sections 6.1-6.5).

• Does not affect the operation of existing boards, commissions, or entities whose membership is based on previously established Congressional Districts; declares emergency to take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
