Amends the Oklahoma Boating Safety Regulation Act to add self-defense as a permitted exception for discharging a firearm from a vessel, alongside hunting animals or fowl

Removes the prohibition on transporting shotguns, rifles, or pistols in a vessel, making it unlawful only to discharge a firearm from a vessel without a valid purpose

Reduces maximum jail time for violations from six (6) months to three (3) months

Eliminates the minimum fine of $50 and minimum jail sentence of 10 days, leaving only a maximum fine of $100

Effective date of November 1, 2023
