Raises the general age of consent for sexual intercourse from 16 to 18 years old under Oklahoma's rape statute (21 O.S. Section 1111)

Modifies the "Romeo and Juliet" close-in-age exception: consensual intercourse with a person 16 or older cannot result in rape conviction unless the perpetrator is more than 4 years older than the other person

Previously, the close-in-age exception applied to those over 14, with an 18-year-old age threshold for the perpetrator

Removes the age floor requirement for student victims in school employee cases, now protecting any student under 20 regardless of minimum age

Amends 21 O.S. Sections 1111 and 1112; passed the Oklahoma House on May 15, 2025 and Senate on May 6, 2025
