• Increases required classroom instruction from 180 days/1,080 hours to 181 days/1,086 hours beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, with corresponding adjustments to all school schedule options.

• Expands the minimum salary schedule for certified personnel to include salary amounts for years 26-35 of service, effective with the 2025-2026 school year, with increases ranging from $56,542-$60,973 for Bachelor's degree holders at year 26-35.

• Authorizes school districts and charter schools to count up to two virtual instruction days (or 12 hours) toward annual instruction requirements beginning 2026-2027, subject to Superintendent approval of a virtual instruction plan and a declared state of emergency by the Governor.
