HB 1368 Summary

• Beginning November 1, 2025, cosmetology establishments, massage therapy establishments or schools, body piercing or tattooing establishments, and hospitals must post warning signs regarding human trafficking penalties in conspicuous locations near public entrances or where similar notices are customarily posted.

• Public schools must post warning signs at exterior boundaries (parallel and every 500 feet for unfenced premises), each roadway or access point, each entrance, and other conspicuous places likely to be viewed by all persons entering.

• Warning signs must be at least 8.5 inches by 11 inches, written in English and Spanish, and include descriptions of Section 748 of Title 21 (human trafficking law) and its criminal penalties.

• The Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control shall adopt rules regarding sign placement, installation, design, size, wording, and maintenance procedures and shall provide all required signs to businesses and schools without cost.

• The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
