• Directs the State Board of Education to promulgate rules governing notice and hearing procedures for accreditation status changes in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act.

• Adds school counselor standards to accreditation requirements and requires districts to provide information on the number of counselors, their duties, student-to-counselor ratios, and staffing levels by school type.

• Becomes effective July 1, 2025, with an emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval.
