• Prohibits creditors and debt collectors from reporting medical debt to consumer reporting agencies if the debt arose from lifesaving and emergency care services rendered at an Oklahoma medical facility.

• Prohibits consumer reporting agencies from including medical debt from lifesaving and emergency care services provided at Oklahoma medical facilities on consumer reports.

• Defines "medical debt" as debt owed to a person or entity whose primary business is providing medical services, products, or devices, including Oklahoma hospitals, nursing facilities, and medical offices with physicians and related healthcare providers.

• Defines "lifesaving and emergency care services" as necessary medical or surgical care services rendered to treat a potentially life-threatening condition or symptom.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2025.
