OK HB1724

Establishes the "Prevention of Maternal Harm Act of 2025" to criminalize coerced abortion by means of fraud, defined as knowingly and intentionally administering abortion-inducing drugs to a pregnant woman without her knowledge or consent.

Imposes 5-10 years imprisonment and $10,000-$75,000 fines for coerced abortion; increases to 10-20 years imprisonment and $50,000-$100,000 fines if the unborn child is more than three months of gestational age.

Allows prosecution for coerced abortion to proceed alongside other criminal charges including murder or attempted murder if the abortion-inducing drug causes death or serious bodily injury to the pregnant woman.

Adds mifepristone and misoprostol to Oklahoma's Schedule IV controlled substances list under the state's drug scheduling law.

Takes effect November 1, 2025.
