HB 1908 Summary

• Amends 41 O.S. 2021, Section 121 to allow tenants to deliver written notice to landlords via text message or email, in addition to traditional written notice.

• Permits text or email notification when notifying landlords of material noncompliance with rental agreements or health and safety violations under Section 118.

• Maintains existing notice requirements including 14-day cure periods and 30-day termination notices for breaches that affect health or safety.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2025.
