Allows school district boards of education to submit a signed Affidavit of Board Action to the State Department of Education as an alternative to approved board minutes to prove an action was approved or taken at a meeting.

State Department of Education must accept a signed Affidavit of Board Action as certification that the district board approved or took a specific action at a meeting.

Affidavit must include county or district code, school district name, meeting date, agenda item number, summary of action approved, and signatures from the district superintendent or assistant superintendent and the board president, chair, or board officer.

Board of education duty to keep meeting minutes in accordance with Section 312 of Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes remains unchanged and is not exempted by this provision.

Effective date is November 1, 2025.
