HB2014 Summary

• Expands the Legal Services Revolving Fund to provide legal representation to indigent persons in family law matters and eviction cases (forcible entry and detainer actions) with priority given to domestic violence and abuse cases.

• Defines "indigent" as individuals with income at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines and establishes eligibility requirements for organizations providing legal services.

• Requires the Attorney General to allocate funds across all 77 Oklahoma counties on a pro rata basis using federal poverty data and reserves funds for specialized areas of law.

• Prohibits Legal Services Revolving Fund use for criminal proceedings, fee-generating cases, abortions, school desegregation, and various other activities listed in the statute.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2025.
