OK HB2016

Amends Section 2702 to establish requirements for artificial intelligence and process/system output to be admitted as expert testimony, requiring demonstration that output will assist the trier of fact, is based on sufficient inputs and data with opponent access, uses reliable principles and methods, and reflects reliable application to case facts.

Requires proponents of AI or system output testimony to demonstrate to the court that it is more likely than not that the output meets four specific criteria regarding helpfulness, data sufficiency, reliability, and demonstrated reliability under similar circumstances.

Amends Section 2806 to allow the accuracy of AI or process/system output admitted as evidence to be attacked and supported by evidence that would be admissible if the output had been uttered by a human declarant.

Permits courts to admit evidence of a process's or system's inconsistent output or prior false output when probative of the accuracy of the admitted output for purposes of attacking or supporting credibility.

Act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
