HB 2111 Summary

• Amends 47 O.S. 2021, Section 1105 relating to the Oklahoma Vehicle License and Registration Act to modify the definition of "salvage vehicle" by restricting repair cost calculations to labor and parts for actual damage to suspension, motor, transmission, frame, unibody, and designated structural components.

• Deletes references to the Oklahoma Tax Commission Reimbursement Fund and redirects applicable fees to the Service Oklahoma Reimbursement Fund effective January 1, 2023, for various vehicle title transactions.

• Changes inspection fee distribution and reimbursement fund deposits for out-of-state vehicles and junked vehicles to flow through the Service Oklahoma Reimbursement Fund instead of the tax commission fund.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2025.
