Prohibits establishing unauthorized camps on streets, sidewalks, or public/private property within 500 feet of public school or private school property.

Violation is a misdemeanor punishable by fine not to exceed $50.00, imprisonment in county jail not to exceed one year, or both, if person refuses to vacate upon command by law enforcement officer.

Defines "unauthorized camp" as any tent, shelter, or bedding constructed or arranged to permit overnight use on property not designated as a campsite.

Defines "public school property" as publicly owned property for elementary, secondary, or vocational-technical education, excluding leased/rented property used for non-educational purposes.

Effective date is November 1, 2025.
