Department of Corrections must coordinate with Service Oklahoma to provide REAL ID Noncompliant Driver Licenses or Identification Cards to inmates before release if they lack current state-issued identification, prioritizing driver licenses first.

Department must begin gathering required identification documentation within 9 months prior to an inmate's release, as outlined in Title 47, Section 6-105.3 of Oklahoma Statutes.

Department shall provide inmates with employment assistance documentation including vocational training records, work records, birth certificates, Social Security cards, resumes listing trades and proficiency, and practice job interview completion documentation.

Six categories of inmates are exempt from resume and practice job interview requirements: those 65 years or older, releasing to medical parole, releasing from Mental Health Units, transferring to other jurisdictions, returning from intermediate revocation facilities, and those determined unable to return to the workforce.

Department of Corrections may use inmate trust funds, existing departmental funds, and donations to cover costs of implementation and purchasing identification documents; act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
