• Nonresident landowners who own a minimum of 160 acres of noncommercial land in Oklahoma may qualify for hunting license exemptions by providing proof of land ownership and property tax payment for the previous year to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.

• Amends 29 O.S. 2021, Section 4-101 to allow nonresidents to use land ownership documentation and paid property taxes as an alternative to proof of residency for specific license exemptions.

• Amends 29 O.S. 2021, Section 4-112 to add a new exemption category for nonresidents hunting on their own property of at least 160 acres with proof of ownership and prior-year tax payment.

• The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission shall promulgate rules necessary to implement these provisions.

• The act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
