OK HB2780

Creates the "Prison Acquisition Revolving Fund" in the State Treasury as a continuing fund for the Department of Corrections to purchase a prison including associated property and equipment from a private prison contractor.

Designates all monies in the fund as appropriated and authorizes the Department to budget and expend them for the prison purchase, with expenditures made by warrant issued by the State Treasurer.

Removes Oklahoma City Community Corrections Center from the list of facilities the Department of Corrections is authorized to maintain and renumbers the remaining facilities accordingly.

Removes North Fork Correctional Center in Sayre from the authorized facilities list.

Adds a new facility purchased pursuant to this bill to the authorized list of Department of Corrections facilities and declares an emergency effective upon passage and approval.
