Permits Oklahoma public schools to offer Life Skills as an elective course, subject to funding availability, in addition to existing personal financial literacy education requirements.

Establishes 11 instructional areas including nutrition and cooking, automobile maintenance, household repairs, first aid, professional development, financial skills, career pathways, government, self-discipline, and mental health basics.

Allows school districts to provide Life Skills instruction to students in grades 6-12, with flexibility to determine timing and delivery method (in-person, virtual, or hybrid).

Permits school districts to partner with career and technology education systems and to integrate instruction into existing Family and Consumer Science courses or other applicable courses.

Requires schools to follow life logic standards or workforce readiness course standards for implementation, with no specialized teaching certification required; becomes effective November 1, 2025.
