Oklahoma Sooners softball team won the 2024 NCAA Women's College World Series, sweeping the University of Texas in the championship series for their fourth consecutive national title.

The program has won eight national championships over its 50-year history, including six of the past eight years and seven of the past 11 years, and competed in 17 Women's College World Series including 12 of the last 13.

Head Coach Patty Gasso earned her 1,500th NCAA Division I win and became the first Big 12 coach in any sport to record 400 conference victories.

Five Sooners were named 2024 NFCA All-Americans, nine student-athletes were placed on All-Big 12 teams, and individual honors included Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year finalists.

The 2024 senior class recorded the winningest four-year stretch in NCAA softball history with 235 victories and 15 losses, including a 73-7 Big 12 Conference record and 41-4 NCAA Tournament record.
