Removes the requirement that the Governor appoint osteopathic physician members to the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners from a list of names submitted by the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association

Grants the Governor sole authority to fill vacancies on the Board, eliminating the previous mandate to select from Oklahoma Osteopathic Association nominees

Allows the Governor to optionally consider recommendations from statewide osteopathic organizations, state chapters of national osteopathic organizations, or other groups and individuals when making appointments

Maintains the existing Board structure of eight examiners (six osteopathic physicians with at least 5 years experience, two lay persons) serving seven-year terms

Effective date: November 1, 2025
